This is when you see the flowers at their best. It’s monsoon season in India, it also rains a bit on the trek. But the rain is what makes the flowers bloom. So time your trek in these months to see the best of the flowers. ?
Nestled high in West Himalaya, India’s Valley of Flowers National Park is renowned for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and outstanding natural beauty. This richly diverse area is also home to rare and endangered animals, including the Asiatic black bear, snow leopard, brown bear and blue sheep. The gentle landscape of the Valley of Flowers National Park complements the rugged mountain wilderness of Nanda Devi National Park. Together they encompass a unique transition zone between the mountain ranges of the Zanskar and Great Himalaya, praised by mountaineers and botanists for over a century and in Hindu mythology for much longer.

Whilst sitting on the nature’s lush green carpet, among the dancing flowers, enjoying the vibes of the endless happiness, and watching the reflection of the marching million rays through the tears of joy in the eyes of the tall Oaks. All those radiant rays, filtering through the waving leaves of the trees, making patterns on the scented soil below, makes me feel so proud, and patriot, and I lean on my back with fingers of both of my hands fitting between the spaces, and my eyes closed, I draw the sketch of your lovely face on the canvas of my vivid imagination. I wake up with a smile, and look at the distant valley, filled with Amber Sunshine, and enjoy the shimmering rays reflecting from the Pushpawati River, filling the valley with a glow, and rising up towards the skies carrying scent. The glorious blue skies with couple of wandering pieces of fluffy clouds, lean down with their arms wide spread to cuddle the nature. I wear a wing suit and dive from the top of the mountain, and fly like a thirsty bird in search of eternal joy, where mother nature opens her arms and welcomes me, and I crash land at the footsteps of this beautiful valley with my crushed skull, broken ribs and bones, and my soul flies away and dance with those of who already have enjoyed the eternity whilst drinking the crystal clear water of the River. The fiery Sun cremates my body, and shakes my ash to the wind, so I live in the Valley till eternity.
