We did both ends of the journey. This part was with the heritage diesel which is amazing in its own right. On this trip Dylan was both the commentary steward and or carriage steward. He is extremely knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the journey. Carriages are very well appointed and even have leg rugs if you're a bit chilly. The scenery is spectacular across the whole line. Toilets at the stations (other than Regatta Point) are composting toilets. These are exceptionally well maintained for these kind of toilets.

A very charming station. Quite and I guess it brings a lot of memories to the people in Strahan. The station is located by the Long Bay and that's made more interesting. You can find cafe and souvenir shop at the station. Parkings are available too. And it not far from Strahan Village. Cheers.

Very enjoyable trip great informative and relaxed gives a glimpse of the rain forest and the conditions the builders of the rail line would have endured. Engine and carriages fantastically restored a credit to all involved.

Wonderful trip. I liked the lady's commentary. All the staff were friendly & helpful. The rugs are a great idea. Some of us felt cold & used them to keep warm. I'm glad we had ALL the stops: for cuppas, snacks & loo. I was amazed the trip was about 70 klms., long! The train was beaut, too!
